Whenever someone thinks of a garden water fountain, it is assumed that the water feature will be placed in the backyard living area. Many fountains are actually placed in the front yard as a welcoming gesture for guests and as an appealing main attraction to the house to compliment the home itself. If you do choose to use a garden water fountain at the front of your house instead of the back it is best to choose something that is attractive and that will draw attention as a centerpiece to your yard. Large statues are very common in front entryways. Choose a statue that compliments the overall theme of your house. For example, it would not be a good choice to use a classical, Roman looking statue in front of a country or craftsman style house. If your home has a tropical feel to it, a dolphin statue or a palm tree looking statue fountain might be a good addition. Typically, the generic tiered fountains match just about any style home.

I am interested in adding a water fountain in my corporate office. I have not decided yet on materials, but slate, natural river rock and Italian copper are some of the materials I have been looking at.

I am figuring that the fountain should be about 6 feet in length. I checked the home improvement stores in my area and most of their fountains are low quality. I also went online. I found a few places with quality wall fountains (Water Gallery), but does anyone have experience with larger wall fountains? Which type should I choose for my corporate office?
