pagans…. if you could would you…?

if you could have any amount of land/gardens that you desired and there was no limit on the money you could spend would you:

have a garden and how many? also would you have a garden/areas in the garden for each element (fire, water, wind, earth)?

would you have an alter in your garden?

how big would your perfect space (garden/outdoor space) be and what would you do with the space? (garden:what type and what type of plants, space: decor/hardscape, other:whatever else you would do).

how much time would you spend in your outdoor space/garden?

thanks!

I would have a large garden, perhaps an acre. And several acres of forest.
I would devote much of the garden area to sacred/ritual herbs.

I would also like to plant and maintain an area for a grove, complete with a large flat topped stone for an alter. Perhaps something with the Wheel of the Year laid out in plantings.

And I would spend most of my time out there tending to the Earth and the plantings.

No limit on money? Hell yeah I would have a garden…

Unfortunately, it wouldn’t really be for me. I’m very hearth oriented, and so would center a house in the garden, fung shu the hell out of the place, taking into account the fire nature of the south. Possibly even build a living sundial from the grounds design. But no, I wouldn’t spend too much time in it.

If money were no object I’d plant people, not plants.

There are a huge number of Pagan elders that are mobility impaired and living on fixed incomes.

If money were no object I’d build a large, accessible, self-sustaining intentional community with a blend of public and private lands.

If I could have any amount of land? I would want it all. And I would let it grow wildly, on its own, to return to its natural state.

    Greetings!

I would plant a Spiritual Garden, in the Hearts of all Men-and watch it grow.

The Altar is always the next project, the New Soil that you turn.

The Elements are already there-one but needs to recognise them.

Our Garden starts at the Front Door, and goes as far as I do.

    All the Time there is.

    Thank you !

Sorry for gatecrashing, I’m not a Pagan!

    - just wanted to say I think this is a lovely post and I can’t wait to read all the other answers. Have a star :)

(if I could have a huge garden/land, I think I’d try and grow medicinal herbs, using all the old plant lore that no doubt drug companies are secretly researching and applying)

Hmm, I would have a lot of trees, and would have an herb garden, maybe a lot of ground cover. I don’t know how you’d go about having an elemental garden. I mean maybe hot peppers for fire? red flowers, etc. Watermelon for water? lettuce? and what about Earth? Just dirt? Air is even more difficult.
