The function of a wind chime is to provide musical and visual interest to an area/landscape.
A series of pipes/tubes hang freely either in a line or in a circle. Another item hangs freely and seperate of the pipes and is designed to catch both the wind and also to hit the pipes. Pipes can be made of almost any material but metal pipes can be tuned to give beautiful notes to a surrounding garden.

It works when the wind blows through it. Vote for Benji! :)
