What is this fruit decor thing?

March 3, 2010

I found what I think is some sort of patio/garden decor piece at Goodwill and am trying to figure out what it is. Most of it is green, it’s about 2.5 feet tall. At the bottom there is a thing that comes out that looks like it’s meant to hold 3 large candles. A little more than half way up there is a ceramic circle that has fruit painted on it. At the top there are 8 spirals, 4 making a sort of "platform" and 4 more above those that are hanging off the sides that look like you could maybe hang something from them. Here’s a picture of it. http://photos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs454.ash1/24983_1333765457522_1032617442_1003858_7769755_n.jpg

Reception Decoration Ideas for a Garden Wedding?

February 16, 2010

I need help thinking of ideas for centerpieces, decor, favors, etc. for my reception. The reception is going to be held in a garden and we’re serving an afternoon tea. My colors are red, ivory, and champagne and the theme is sort of Rustic/ Vintage/ Garden-y. I’d like some simple and elegant decorations. Any ideas? Pictures would also be appreciated.
