The University of Central Florida has announced it will install a minimum of 50 water fountains at its new stadium. After running out of bottled water at its first game Saturday, water woes have plagued the university. At last weekend’s game more than 60 fans were treated for heat-related issues, and 18 were taken to the hospital.
From the mainstream media, and some posts by this forum, one got impression that China has conducted an apartheid policy like that of USA and South Africa in 1950s and before: such as a separate eating in a restaurant, a separate drinking from a water fountain, a separate rest room, the separate schools, the separate movies, etc.
My large cement fountain cracked from the frozen water, any advice on how to repair the crack so that it remains water tight when I fill it up with water and run the pump? Thank you!
My puffer recently died and for the last month i’ve kept a snail that used to be in the tank in a small bucked of cycled water which i occassionally fill with water. Instead of getting a small tank for it (and possibly some shrimp), i was thinking about getting one of those small tabletop water fountains to keep it in. I was wondering if this would be enough for the snail to survive?
The fountain would be next to a window in direct sunlight to promote algae and moss growth to feed the snail…
My daugher loves the old fashioned asian water fountains that are landscapes, usually very colorful, and often have a ball or water wheel. I would love to find one for her "Gotcha Day" Any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
We’re looking for one that is about 3-5 feet tall but can’t find one on the internet. Does anyone know someone who sells/makes these palm tree water fountains?
