I took a 1-day trip down to Kyoto last Saturday to support the Couchsurfing community down there. www.couchsurfing.com It was the 10 year anniversary for CS, and there were parties held across the world! For example – there was one party in Vienna with about 400 attendees! http The Kyoto community is new, and I wanted to let them know there are people up here in Tokyo supporting them.

The East Orange Campus High School Jaguar Bucket Ensemble uses buckets as percussion instruments. The group features 85 students playing buckets, instruments made from PVC pipe, bamboo wind chimes and other unconventional instruments. They will have a performance at NJPAC in December.
